Johann Strauss Jr. May 2021. Illustration of Austrian composer, Johann Strauss Jr., done for Catoctin Breeze Vineyard and their 2020 Waltz Albariño wine label. This is the latest addition to the vineyard's Composer Wine Series, illustrated while listening to Strauss Jr.'s, Voices of Spring Waltz. The ‘composing’ process allows the movements and fluctuations of the music to guide the hand.
