The French Dispatch: Portrait of Frances McDormand as Lucinda Krementz. January 2021. I created this portrait of Frances McDormand as Lucinda Krementz from the 2021 movie, The French Dispatch. I wanted to portray a sense of mystery and drama in the scene to reflect the movie's quirky and dramatic mood. I used a limited color palette, used hand-painted textures and hand-rendered type.
