Vanessa Brantley-Newton created Redbird Reef with scenes of an underwater adventure. The imaginary commute includes a boy surrounded by a variety of colorful fish and an octopus inside a subway car. Some of the sea creatures are wearing hats, carrying briefcases, listening to music or holding reading material. The fun-filled scenes were inspired by Vanessa’s NYC travel memories and imagination at a young age.
