America and the Virus: A Colossal Failure of Leadership. October 2020. I tried to capture the surreal nature of late 2020, along with the idea of neglect, anxiety, and chaos. A surgical gloved hand symbolizes attempts to fight the virus and is trying to hold everything together, but it's getting overwhelmed by the complete mismanagement of politicians and the virus.
