Pattern Play. June 2021. In January 2020 I had surgery and took an FMLA leave from teaching. After my recovery, when I was ready to go back to school, we went into lockdown. This is the only piece I made for myself in 2020. I roughed in the rectangular shapes in the background, and then started filling it in with all these different patterns. It was just what I needed at the time.
