Belacqua (Dante's Purgatory). March 2021. Part of a group of 8 commissioned works to celebrate 700 years since Dante Alighieri's death (1321-2021).
In the present one (from Dante's Purgatory, The Terrace of Sloth) Belacqua is found by Dante and Virgil in Ante-Purgatory as he sits in a fetal position under a large rock with other souls.
