Rosalind Franklin: Visionary scientist. 100 Women of the Year project. March 2020. New TIME covers were created to spotlight influential women who were overshadowed. Covers were illustrated to reflect TIME covers during the period of events. In 1953 Visionary scientist Rosalind Franklin generated a key x-ray that provided evidence of the double-helix structure of DNA molecules.
