I Wish You Were Here is a short graphic story written and illustrated by Dasha Ziborova and published by Aaron Hicklin in the inaugural issue of Grand Journal. I Wish You Were Here is a story that deals with living through so-called “interesting times”, including the author’s mother's horrific childhood during the Siege of Leningrad, and Dasha’s own experience at the time of an attempted military coup in the USSR in August 1991.
