Mama Elephant. January 2019. These images are part of a series of creatures which I worked on while spending a few afternoons with nursery school kids, talking about things they are curious about, fascinated by, etc., etc. They asked me to draw animals which they described as “normal” and “imaginary”. It was a transportive experience.
