This is a portrait of Anthony Harris, a member of the Compton Cowboys. The Compton Jr. Posse was founded in 1988 by Mayisha Akbar to teach kids horseback riding and equestrian care and to keep the kids out of gangs. The Compton Cowboys are a group of alums from the program.
