La Medea
PS 122 COIL Festival. La Medea. January 2017. Yara Travieso's musical re-imagining of Euripides’ violent tragedy Medea. I created the show poster, illustrated and animated set pieces, masks, and graphics used throughout the production. This image is a large-scale print that illustrates the backstory of the main character prior to the start of the play. In the theater production, a panning, live-stream projection of the image is used to accompany a band playing an original song that tells the character backstory.
