Marta Monteiro, Portugal. Borders. January 2016. I was given a very broad theme to illustrate and decided to depict a crowd of refuges fleeing away from war. Most of them are strangers, so I didn't want to use faces and chose a point of view from behind, as if I was one of them walking in that same long line of people.
