Hasidic Abuse. March 2016. Feature spread for an article on child abuse in Brooklyn's Hasidic community. The abuse discussed was both physical and sexual, and the text focused on how the community hid the abuses to try to keep the crimes within their internal judicial systems, which did not provide justice for the victims.

Truce

Truce. April 2016. Silent cut paper comic, 22 pages. Made by photographing a 3D bedroom set, with the main character cut separately as many times as she appears and shadow characters photographed separately and digitally composited. The story is of a woman scared alone at night where shadows may not be as they appear.
