Two. May 2016. From my thesis project, a series of images where I strive to find something, a misplaced memory or the details of a dream I once had. I first construct a space for a narrative scenario to occur by mentally collaging tangents found in film stills or my own photographs. By establishing this space I allow myself the freedom to explore the absurd or surreal; there are no rules. I then populate the space with strange figures or objects that interact with each other through placement, scale, transparency, and surface quality. It is there where I start to discover the dialog between the figures I have placed and the space I have created.
