Graphic Story ID- Rock & Roll. February 2014. Nickelodeon sought to create FUNNY/IRREVERENT concepts for :05 - :10 network brand IDs that make the NICK / NICKELODEON logo an active player in our on-air brand experience. These logo IDS need to connect uniquely to a kids world with the same authenticity , humor , adventure and originality that our shows do. With humor being the primary brand experience for Nickelodeon, our challenge was to find a unique and innovative creative approach that could ultimately tell a funny visual story that could have repeatability on our air. Robin Davey is a designer and a storyteller who crafted a batch of ID concepts that help to support the humor inherent in our brand. Each of these logo IDs tells a unique and compelling story that ties in our Logo as a payoff after a short story is visually expressed through design and animation. Each concept is rich with humor while colorfully rich and stylistically unique to our brand.
