"Gino Severini: The Lost Etruscan Sketchbook". August 2014. One of eight pieces done in response to the work of the Italian Futurist, Gino Severini for a show at the Etruscan Museum in Cortona Italy. Since he grew up in Cortona, I was wondering if he had seen the museum's extensive Etruscan collection and was influenced by it. If so, what might his resulting sketchbooks have looked like?
