Guardian Angel, portrait of Franz Schwub, the artist's Great Uncle who served for 7 years in the German Army in the Second World War, personal work, October 2009. The "Wehrmacht"sent him straight to the front lines to lead horse-drawn transports throughout Eastern Europe, France, Italy, the Balkans and Russia.
