A couple received a $2,000 refund after convincing their bank that they couldn’t trust their wedding photographer would show up on their big day, notes PetaPixel. Will and Jordan Creasy of Greensboro, North Carolina, were able to recover money they’d already put down after their wedding photographer failed to attend their engagement shoot, leaving them doubtful she would appear on their wedding day. “My wife asked for our money back — we couldn’t trust somebody to show up on the wedding day,” Will Creasy told WFMY.

In 1966, French photojournalist Catherine Leroy ventured into the chaos of the Vietnam war. Leroy, then 21 and barely five feet tall, bought a one-way ticket from Paris and arrived in Saigon with a hundred dollars in her pocket and a Leica M2 camera. Fearlessly, she went on to capture the raw emotion and humanity of troops and civilians alike, notes The Guardian. Leroy’s photos are being exhibited at the 2025 Ballarat International Foto Biennale in Australia through October 19.

Meta has appropriated the names and likenesses of celebrities – including Taylor Swift, Scarlett Johansson, Anne Hathaway and Selena Gomez – to create dozens of flirty social-media chatbots without their permission, Reuters reports. Some of the AI-generated celebrity content was particularly risqué: Asked for intimate pictures of themselves, the adult chatbots produced photorealistic images of their namesakes posing in bathtubs or dressed in lingerie with their legs spread.
