Wedding photographers: Don’t let this happen to you. People magazine reports on a new bride who says she was "furious" to discover that one of her bridesmaids "hijacked" her wedding photographer to shoot some professional headshots. In a poston Reddit's "Bridezillas" forum, the bride explained that she later discovered that the bridesmaid had “whipped out a blazer, put it over her dress, and proceeded to have the bridal photographer take 'just a few' work headshots for her... for at least 15 minutes."   Read the full Story >>

Passings: Joe Stevens, Photographer of Rock's Intimate Moments, Dies at 87

Joe Stevens, who, after wearying of a hectic career as a road manager for the Byrds and the Lovin’ Spoonful, transformed into a celebrated rock photographer who chronicled the golden era of amplified rebellion from Woodstock to the Sex Pistols and beyond, died on Aug. 26 in Concord, N.H. He was 87, notes The New York Times. Stevens worked at the British music bible New Musical Express for much of the 1970s as a staff photographer after moving to London early in the decade.   Read the full Story >>
