Canon says its newly announced EOS C50 is the smallest and lightest cinema camera in the company’s lineup. Despite its dainty size (5.6 by 3.5 by 3.7 inches), the C50 packs many of the features people would expect from a cinema camera, such as internal Raw recording, a full-size HDMI port and a fan for active cooling, notes DP Review. The camera features a new 7K full-frame CMOS image sensor, RF mount, flexible design, and Canon’s acclaimed Dual Pixel CMOS AF II technology, adds PetaPixel.

John Waddell – the photographer better known as Rankin – had never been on a cruise before, until he shot the singer Nicole Scherzinger for the launch of a new P&O Cruises ship. The sailing experience left an impression, and a few conversations with P&O management later, Rankin was commissioned to shoot the crew and just a few of the 5,200 passengers of its 184,700-ton ship M/S Arvia. His brief? To counter the stereotype that cruising is predominantly the holiday choice of retirees. “I tried to be open-minded,” Rankin tells Wallpaper.
