The Camera & Imaging Products Association recently published its year-to-date photography industry statistics for January through June, showing that for the first half of the year, camera and lens shipments are up compared to 2023 and 2024. The report also revealed that the Chinese market is playing an increasingly important role in the camera industry, notes PetaPixel. China’s share of interchangeable lens shipments was 30.5% so far in 2025, making it the largest market for ILCs by over five percentage points, with America in second place at 25.2%).

Taylor Swift’s new album reunites her with the photographic duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, who, notes The Line of Best Fit, have been responsible for some of her most iconic album covers and cover stories.
