A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to raise money to assist with the search for Edson Vandeira, a mountaineer and photographer who went missing along with two Peruvians while climbing Peru's demanding Artesonraju mountain on June 1. "In the early hours of the rescue, the team's tent was found empty. There are signs that the group had reached the summit and that something serious had possibly happened during the descent," reads the GoFundMe launched by Natalia Mossmann Koch, Vandeira’s ex-wife. Vandeira’s work has appeared in a number of adventure magazines as well as National Geographic.

“I was an easy target,” says New York Post photographer Tony Canham, who was reporting on the protests in Los Angeles near the 101 freeway when a California Highway Patrol officer fired a non-lethal round at him. Canham, 59, who was wearing his press pass, was struck in the forehead and quickly fell to the ground, according to the Post. He posted a selfie on his Instagram Stories showing his head injury, notes People magazine. “Where I was hit, I was the only person overlooking the freeway,” Canham noted.
