On 2024, Wired reported that 28 Years Later, the upcoming sequel to the classic zombie movie 28 Days, was being filmed using an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Now an IGN interview with the film's director, Danny Boyle, confirms that at least some parts of the new movie were shot with iPhones. One shooting rig held up to 20 iPhones to create what Boyle calls "basically a poor man’s bullet time,” notes DP Review. Boyle said he decided to use iPhones as a callback to the vibe of the original film.

For the past decade, photographer Felix Kunze has been exploring the world of The Explorers Club, the prestigious society dedicated to the advancement of field research, scientific exploration and resource conservation. The Committee to Protect Journalists, the US-based press freedom charity, has directed a British law firm to set up a legal entity in the UK, in part as a precautionary measure against potential Trump administration executive orders targeting American nonprofits. CPJ is far from alone, adds the site: UK law firms have reported a surge in US-based nonprofits inquiring about creating legal entities in Britain, either to begin shifting their operations and funds abroad or as a precautionary step.

Instagram covets Gen Z: Recently, the app it introduced the most expensive brand campaign in it’s history, squarely focused on that demographic. But what does Gen Z want from Instagram? In interviews, notes The New York Times, a dozen members of Gen Z said they still used Instagram to keep in touch with friends, build businesses and pore over cooking videos. But out of all of its features, they seemed least interested in the public photo feed that had once been Instagram’s marquee feature.
