Agenda: Global Peace Photo Award Deadline Is Extended

Global Peace Photo Award   Friday May 23, 2025

The Global Peace Photo Award, which recognizes and celebrates images that depict peace in the broadest sense of the word, has extended its deadline to accept entries until June 1, 2025. The award is open to both amateur and professional photographers, and there is no entry fee. The top five submissions will receive the Alfred Fried Peace Medal at the award ceremony in Vienna, Austria, in September; the winner of the Peace Image of the Year will be awarded a cash prize of €7,000 and have his or her image displayed in the Austrian Parliament for one year before being added to its Permanent Collection.   Read the full Story >>
