The Nikon D6 is being discontinued, marking the end of the company's once-vaunted flagship DSLR line, reports Nikon Rumors. The move aligns with the photo industry's shift towards mirrorless technology, adds Fstoppers. Released in early 2020, the D6 was known for its durability, speed, and autofocus performance, making a staple among sports photographers and photojournalists, explains DIY Photography. On view at the Museum of Art, Architecture & Technology in Lisbon, Portugal, through September 1 is the retrospective exhibition “Jeff Wall – Time Stands Still. Photographs, 1980–2023,” which AnOther calls an “epic” look back at the artist’s four-decade career and his cinematic recreations of the real world. "Most of my pictures with events happening in them start from an observation or a thought, which I think of as a starting point. With it, I can work,” Wall tells The Eye of Photography.

South Korean technology giant Samsung Electronics has warned that U.S. tariffs could cut demand for its products. The company said it expected its semiconductor business to encounter greater uncertainties throughout the year, while its smartphone shipments faced downward pressure in the second quarter, notes Reuters. Meanwhile, PetaPixel reports that Leica says it will increase the price of its products in the United States as a result of Donald Trump’s blanket tariffs.
