Artificial intelligence is posing threats to photojournalists on issues from copyright to misinformation. But, notes The Havard Gazette, veteran photo editor Kira Pollack, who is now the Walter Shorenstein Media & Democracy Fellow at the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy, thinks it might also be effectively used to catalog, organize, and contextualize vital work from the vast archives of photojournalists and make it discoverable. Art News: Amid NEA Dismantling, Warhol and Frankenthaler Foundations Announce $800,000 Fund

The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation have announced a $800,000 fund to be distributed among 80 visual arts programs at small and mid-sized organizations across the country. The recipients of the grants, notes Art News, had previously received funding through Challenge America, an National Endowment for the Arts initiative designed to bring art to underserved communities.
