President Donald Trump has announced he is extended a deadline requiring China-based ByteDance to sell U.S. TikTok operations, “to keep TikTok up and running for an additional 75 days.” Trump announced the extension on his Truth Social platform, saying the TikTok deal “requires more work to ensure all necessary approvals are signed,” notes CNBC. ByteDance’s original deadline to sell TikTok was on Jan. 19, but Trump signed an executive order when he took office the next day that gave the company 75 more days to make a deal.

Canon has announced that its PowerShot V compact will be available across the world in late April. Aimed at bloggers, the $900 camera is a variant of the company's 24MP APS-C mirrorless camera, notes DP Review: The body has been reworked to make it easier to operate while facing the camera, but it shares most of its underlying hardware with the existing model, other than its lack of viewfinder and built-in flash. It features a 24MP Dual Pixel AF CMOS sensor and shoots full-width 4K video up to 30p and 4K video up to 60p from a central 1.5x crop.
