The Photography Show from the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD) is returning to the Park Avenue Armory in New York City from April 23 to 27, and you can buy tickets to the art fair now. AIPAD will debut its re-envisioned Discovery Sector for the 2025 edition of the event: Reflecting its renewed commitment to platforming new and emerging galleries, these booths will showcase single-artist or theme presentations alongside focused historical exhibitions, notes AIPAD.

World Photography Organization Thursday April 17, 2025
The World Photography organization has announced the winners of the 2025 Sony World Photography Awards, and the top prize, Photographer of the Year, goes to British photographer Zed Nelson for his series “The Anthropocene Illusion.” The six-year-long documentary project, selected from the contest’s Professional category, explores “how we immerse ourselves in increasingly choreographed and simulated environments to mask our destructive impact on the natural world.” Nelson receives $25,000 and Sony gear.
