Social News: Instagram Launches 'Trial Reels' for Tests Out with Non-Followers

Instagram is officially rolling out a new feature to give creators a way to test out new content by publishing videos that don’t appear to their followers. Called “Trial Reels, the feature allows creators to experiment with new ideas and see what performs best without having to worry about how their followers may react, notes TechCrunch. A National Institutes of Health report titled "Working to Address the Tragedy of Stillbirth,” published in March 2023, mirrored findings of an investigation by ProPublica into the U.S. stillbirth crisis, which found that more than 20,000 pregnancies are lost at 20 weeks or more every year. A Texas wedding photographer has pleaded guilty to felony theft after admitting she took customers' fees and then abandoned them. In 2022, one bride, Maggie Jones, told CBS News she had hired Olivia Seymour Photography for engagement and wedding photos, paid the fee, but only received excuses from the photographer. Other clients later reported similar encounters with Seymour. A judge sentenced her to two years probation and ordered her to repay Jones and several others.   Read the full Story >>
