Originally launched in 2019 for $30, ProGrade Digital’s Refresh Pro software is designed to address multiple issues that arise with memory cards over time, including the fact that they get slower with age and use. Now, notes PetaPixel, the company is making it free, citing its “vital” importance. Three years ago, British photographer Charlie Tallott was in a dark place following a suicide attempt. While recovering, he used photography as refuge, striving to create utopian realities through his images. Now, notes Fad, Tallott is the winner of the Photo London-Nikon Emerging Photography Award. He is also bringing out a new book, At Least Until the World Stops Going Round, published by New Dimension. Social News: Instagram Is Labeling Real Photos as 'Made by AI'

Photographers are upset that Meta is labelling their edited photos on Instagram, Facebook and Threads as “made with AI,” raising concerns that the company’s approach to labelling AI content is not precise enough. Meta’s platforms and other online communities are littered with posts from photographers and other artists arguing that the AI label should not be added to their work, Some used Photoshop’s AI tools, and one Reddit thread has users claiming that their 3D product renderings have been tagged, notes Crikey.   Read the full Story >>
