DJI has announced successors to its popular RS 4 and RS 4 Pro gimbals—the DJI RS 4 and DJI RS 4 Pro. The compact gimbals are heavily inspired by their predecessors, promising similar payloads, but they feature improved usability and performance, including expanded vertical shooting capabilities, notes PetaPixel. Among the new features new is second-generation native vertical shooting—a big deal in the age of social media and content creation. Born in Tallinn, Estonia in 1980 Alexander Gronsky  began working as a press photographer in 1998 and later moved on to personal documentary projects focusing on the contemporary Russian landscape. His photographs “look like the grand paintings of old masters, with people also becoming part of the landscape,” notes Global Voices, which has published a translation of an interview with the photographer from Russian-language Holod  magazine. State of the Art: New Bill Would Force AI Companies to Reveal Use of Copyrighted Art

A bill recently introduced in the US Congress  intends to force artificial intelligence companies to reveal the copyrighted material they use to make their generative AI models. The legislation, introduced by California Democratic congressman Adam Schiff, adds to a growing number of attempts from lawmakers, news outlets and artists to establish how AI firms use creative works like songs, visual art, books and movies to train their software, notes The Guardian. “AI has the disruptive potential of changing our economy, our political system, and our day-to-day lives,” noted Schiff in a statement.   Read the full Story >>
