Stock agencies are climbing aboard the AI express train: Nvidia has announced that its Nvidia Edify multimodal generative AI model can now generate 3D content, and that it has partnered with Shutterstock and Getty Images on Edify-powered tools. Shutterstock is providing early access to an Edify-powered application that creates 3D objects for virtual scenes from text prompts and images, notes VentureBeat. The US Justice Department has joined 16 states and the District of Columbia to file a significant challenge to the reach and influence of Apple, arguing in an 88-page lawsuit that the company had violated antitrust laws with practices that were intended to keep customers reliant on their iPhones and less likely to switch to a competing device. The Justice Department’s lawsuit is seeking to put an end to those practices. According to Wex, the camera now being turned in most often is the Fujifilm X100V.
