State of the Art: Adobe Changes Policy Over AI Images

Stock image site Adobe Stock has announced it will crack down on AI-generated images that seem to show real, newsworthy events and take new steps to prevent its images from being used in misleading ways, notes The Washington Post. The move comes after The Post found that unlabeled AI images purporting depict the Israel-Hamas conflict and the war in Ukraine were being sold on the stock site. Trending: Fashion Photographer Terry Richardson Again Accused of Sexual Assault

Fashion photographer Terry Richardson, who has faced sexual misconduct allegations in the #MeToo era, is again being accused of sexual assault, notes USA Today. Spanish model Minerva Portillo is suing Richardson, Trump Model Management and  the agency’s president Annie Veltri, alleging that Richardson, who has largely retreated from the public eye, assaulted her during a photo shoot and hen exhibited, published and sold photos from the incident. Portillo brought the lawsuit under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, which has provided victims a one-year window to file civil lawsuits even if the statutes of limitations in their cases had run out, adds The New York Times.   Read the full Story >>

Passings: Larry Fink, Photographer of 'Social Graces,' Dies at 82

Larry Fink, best known for his black-and-white images of high-society soirees and his neighbors in rural Pennsylvania, died at him home on Nov. 25. Over his career, Fink published a number of books, including the seminal 1984 collection "Social Graces."
