More than two months after DPReview was initially slated to shut down and go offline, the publication has found a new lease on life, reports PetaPixel. After facing the axe from its erstwhile owner, Amazon, DPR has been acquired by Gear Patrol, a publication and content studio that focuses its coverage on broader consumer products. But there’s another side to the story, notes The Wall Street Journal: Celebs are also using AI replicas of themselves to make money. Social News: Instagram Is Rolling Out Channels Feature for Broadcasting Messages

Meta has announced that it’s rolling out Instagram’s Channels features for broadcasting messages globally. Until now, the feature was available to select creators and users. The company first launched Channels for Instagram in February to let creators share one-to-many messages with their fans. In May, Instagram introduced support for collaborators on Instagram Channels.
