The Insta360 X3 has been improved with the release a free firmware update that adds mobile-to-desktop reframe data syncing, notes PetaPixel. The update also turns the 360-degree camera into a simple plug-and-play webcam with enhanced PureShot image quality. Industry News: Imaging Resource Website Shuts Down

Camera website Imaging Resource is now offline, and the publication is suspected to have shut its doors for good, reports PetaPixel. It was first reported in 2019 that Imaging Resource was to be shuttered, but the website was seemingly saved when it was bought by Madavor Media in 2020. After the BeBop Channel bought Madavor Media in March of this year, PP noted that the new owner's focus on theater and music seemed to put the multiple photography publications the corporation had acquired “in a strange spot.” Imaging Resource was founded in 1999.   Read the full Story >>

Spotlight: Portraits of Dogs Young and Old

After studying photography at Ithaca College in New York, Amanda Jones launched a career as a dog photographer with what she says was “very little knowledge” of the business. Her project “Dog Years” shows how far she’s come, notes Business Insider. For the series, Jones photographed dogs as puppies, then caught up with them later to capture them toward the end of their lives.
