“To look at Jos Avery‘s Instagram account is to be greeted by a sea of beautiful portrait photographs staring right back at you,” notes DP Review. But all is not what it seems: Avery, who has amassed nearly 30,000 followers since he began posting his impressive work last October, recently confessed that his images were created using the AI image generator Midjourney. “Avery emphasizes that while his images are not actual photographs (except two, he says), they still require a great deal of artistry and retouching on his part to pass as photorealistic,” notes Ars Technica.   Read the full Story >>
