Apple has announced a new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro powered by the new M2 processor. The 2022 MacBook Air has a new liquid retina monitor that is expanded closer to the edge for a larger 13.6-inch display area. Apple says it is 25 percent brighter with support for one billion colors, notes PetaPixel. The M2-powered 13-inch MacBook Pro features a faster 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU, which Apple says makes working with RAW photos in apps like Affinity Photo nearly 40 percent faster than the previous generation. “Despite the fact that this loss is common, the silence around it persists,” says Canadian photographer Florence Babin-Beaudry of her project “Products of Conception,” which focuses on miscarriage. The work was named a winner of the British Journal of Photography’s Portrait of Humanity Awards. Babin-Beaudry began the project after having a miscarriage herself. “At first, I needed to express myself to channel my emotions,” she says.
