Storee Elle Walton is a renaissance girl. The Memphis, Tennessee, eight-year-old has taken the internet by a storm since being photographed capturing a Memphis Grizzlies game with her Nikon D90, notes Pop Photo. Though sports photography gave her notoriety, it’s not all she does: Walton also photographs events, weddings, and fashion. Though Ansel Adams spent his last two decades living and working on the jagged shores of one of the most dramatic and camera-ready spots in the world, you won’t find pictures of his own Central Coast backyard among the photographer’s greatest hits, notes SF Gate—no portraits of Big Sur’s Bixby Bridge at sunrise or Carmel’s lone cypress tree casting spindly shadows over its white sand beaches at sundown. Why? According to Mary Alinder, Adams’s assistant and close friend and co-author of his autobiography, it was in part out of deference to another photographer from the area—Edward Weston.
