A photograph of a family killed by a mortar in Irpin, near Kyiv, taken by photojournalist Lynsey Addario for The New York Times, has gone viral on social media as been featured on cable news outlets. The image, featured on the front page of the newspaper, was taken as a site where Ukrainian refugees were milling near the entrance to a bridge. The family was killed after crossing into Kyiv.
