Tech News: The Teradek/SmallHD Monitor and Wireless Receiver

Dept of Ideas: This Teen Built a DIY 8x10-Inch Large-Format Video Camera

Eighteen-year-old Zev Hoover has made news by creating a DIY 8x10-inch large-format video camera — which, he believes, is the only one of its kind in the world. His inspiration, he tells News Shooter, was “[j]ust a love of the large format look.” Essentially, notes Cinema 5D, Hoover “ingeniously rigged an 8X10 large format camera to a slider, with a tilt-shift Sony a7S mounted underneath.
