Apple hired French filmmaker Michel Gondry to shoot a film with an iPhone, and the result is Détour, an 11-minute short following a family as they go on a rambling vacation. The film, says Short of the Week, “showcases the director’s charming signature style.” Meanwhile, NoFilmSchool  thinks the film is sort of Gondry’s version of “The Red Balloon” and includes a BTS clip with Gondry talking about shooting nighttime “in the most honest way."   Read the full Story >>
