Tech News: Metabones's New Canon-to-Sony Lens Adapters

Metabones has unveiled four new EF to E-mount lens adapters that make it easier to use Canon glass on Sony cameras, notes Digital Trends. The new adapters include two Cine versions specifically designed for users of Sony’s FS7 II cinema camera. The most notable improvement in the new Cine versions is the “positive-lock” lens mount, which allows you to attach an EF lens to an E mount camera without the need to turn the lens, adds Cinema 5D.   Read the full Story >>

Art News: Downloadable App Features Leading VR Voices

The New Museum of New York City has launched a virtual-reality exhibition available to the public as a free downloadable VR app, notes the Creators Project. The exhibition, “First Look: Artists’ VR,” features the works of six commissioned artists, most of whom are leading voices in the VR field: Jeremy Couillard, Jacolby Satterwhite, Jayson Musson, Rachel Rossin, Peter Burr and Porpentine, and Jon Rafman. Resources: Searchable Database of Great Film Compositions
