The National Press Photographers Association’s Best of Photojournalism contest is accepting entries though Jan. 23, 2022. This year’s edition of the competition features a new “Documentary” division. “Our hope is that this division will make a great home for the wonderful documentary video work that our members produce across so many different platforms,” notes the organization. Some time ago, British-born, LA-based photographer Nadia Lee Cohen’s began amassing discarded name badges from secondhand stores. “Each time I found a new one, I naturally imagined who it had belonged to and what they might have looked like.
