AIPAD Preview: Will Contemporary Art Drive Photo Prices Further?

Critic and writer Barbara Pollack previews the upcoming Association of International Photography Art Dealers art fair in Gotham mag. (We’ll be there, of course.) Pollack notes that more dealers like high-flying David Zwirner will be at the show, blurring the lines between traditional photography and pricey contemporary art based on photography. “Photography can be a gateway to collecting on a larger scale,” says Zwirner’s director of sales, Justine Durrett.
