Books: Rescued Farm Animals Up Close and Personal

By David Schonauer   Thursday March 26, 2020

Farm animals are not pets, as we commonly think of pets. But like dogs or cats, they do have individual personalities, notes Feature Shoot, which spotlights photographer Traer Scott’s book Radiant: Farm Animals Up-Close and Personal, a collection of portraits featuring rescued water buffalo, alpacas, pigs, turkeys and more. “You hear that turkeys are dumb and just bird automatons, but that’s just not true,” says Scott. “They can form beautiful bonds with people when given a chance.”
