Agenda: ICP Opens New $29M Space Tomorrow

By David Schonauer   Friday January 24, 2020

The International Center of Photography will open its new 40,000-square-foot space at Essex Crossing — a residential, retail and office complex on Manhattan’s Lower East Side — on January 25. (With the new space, ICP will be able to consolidate its museum space and photography school for the first time since 2016, when the museum moved to temporary digs on the Bowery.) ICP will offer free admission tomorrow, when it will open four exhibitions, including “Contact High: A Visual History of Hip-Hop,” and “Tyler Mitchell: I Can Make You Feel Good.”
