Honor Roll: Susan Meiselas Wins Deutsche Borse Photography Prize

American documentary photographer Susan Meiselas has won the £30,000 ($38,600) 2019 Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize for her retrospective show "Mediations" at the Jeu de Paume gallery in Paris last year, notes CNN. The prestigious prize is awarded annually to a photographer who has made the most significant contribution to the photographic medium in Europe during the past year. Photographers Laia Abril, Arwed Messmer and Mark Ruwedel were also shortlisted for this year’s prize. The Art Newspaper has more.
