Screening Room: Do We Still Need Memories?

Thanks to cell phones and other recording technology, we now have the ability to photograph and shoot video of everything we do all the time. In her short documentary Three Red Sweaters, filmmaker Martha Gregory investigates how the growth of visual media has altered our need for memories; to do this, she used old 16mm footage recorded by her grandfather to take a trip into her own family history, notes Short of the Week.
