CatchLight has announced the shortlist for the inaugural CatchLight Fellowship, which supports the use of photography to bring awareness to challenging social issues. Three fellows will receive a $30,000 award and will distribute work via one of CatchLight’s media partners — The Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, The Marshall Project and Reveal, the news outlet of The Center for Investigative Reporting. Winners will be announced April 25. Nominees include Laia Abril; Carlos Javier Ortiz; Poulomi Basu; and Tomas Van Houtryve. See the entire shortlist at PDN.
