This just in from Pam Sommers of Rizzoli Bookstore

We have truly appreciated the outpouring of support from so many as the Rizzoli Bookstore enters the transition from its longtime home at 31 West 57th Street to its next chapter.

We have been scouting out new locations in Manhattan, and I am delighted to report that we have seen several very promising spaces. While our 57th Street location will close its doors thisFriday, April 11th, we very much plan--and expect to remain--a vital part of the city’s cultural fabric for many years to come.

I hope you will visit the store this week for a final opportunity to browse the shelves of what has been called, by many, the most beautiful bookstore in New Yorkand to pick up some great books at the moving sale. All books are 40% off through this Friday, both in our store and online, and CDs, cards, magazines etc are all discounted as well.
